1. Project Objectives:
Create a cinematic product animation centered on the concept of "Evolution" — visually narrating how gaming chair design has progressed and why the PA chair represents the next step.
Transform a functional product into an aspirational brand statement by combining technical showcase with strong visual storytelling.
Deliver content suitable for e-commerce product pages, brand websites, and social media advertising.
2. Project Scope:
End-to-end production of a 1-minute 10-second cinematic product animation: concept → modeling → texturing → animation → rendering → compositing → final delivery.
Deliverables: Master animation file optimized for web and social platforms, plus still renders for product pages.
Toolkit: Cinema 4D / Blender for modeling and animation, Redshift for photorealistic rendering, After Effects for compositing and final mastering.
3. Content Planning:
Built the narrative around the "Evolution" concept — structuring the video as a visual progression that reveals design philosophy, materials, and ergonomic innovation.
Planned camera movements and shot composition to emphasize transformation: macro details of premium materials → mechanical adjustments → full product reveal.
Defined the visual tone: dark, cinematic, tech-inspired — positioning the chair as a piece of engineered design rather than just furniture.
4. Production:
Modeled the PA gaming chair with high attention to detail: accurate proportions, realistic leather/fabric textures, metal mechanisms, stitching, adjustable armrests, recline system, and wheelbase.
Created PBR materials matching real-world surfaces: premium upholstery with proper roughness and subsurface scattering, brushed metal, matte plastic, rubber components.
Animated smooth, cinematic camera movements synchronized with an energetic soundtrack to drive the "Evolution" narrative forward.
Rendered in Redshift using multi-pass rendering (beauty, AO, reflections, depth) for maximum compositing flexibility.
5. Post-production:
Compositing in After Effects: integrating render passes, adding cinematic lens effects, depth of field, and subtle grain for a premium film-like quality.
Color grading to establish a dark, moody, tech-forward aesthetic consistent with gaming culture.
Sound design synchronized with visual beats to amplify the "Evolution" theme.
Final mastering with optimized compression for web and social platforms.
