CGI animation - Bloodhound chair
CGI product film for the Bloodhound gaming chair series, reimagined in a cyberpunk aesthetic. The piece transforms a standard product showcase into a cinematic sci-fi scene — placing the chair at the center of a neon-lit, futuristic environment. Full-cycle production: from 3D modeling and hard-surface detailing to photorealistic rendering and atmospheric compositing.

The film places the Bloodhound gaming chair into a cyberpunk universe — a neon-soaked, futuristic command center where the chair isn't just furniture, but the pilot's seat of a digital warrior. This genre-driven approach turns a product demo into a visual story that resonates emotionally with the gaming audience.
1. Project Objectives:
Create a cinematic product film that positions the Bloodhound chair as premium gaming gear through a strong genre identity.
Deliver a visually striking piece that stands out in a saturated gaming-chair market by using a bold cyberpunk aesthetic.
Showcase the chair's design, materials, and build quality within a context that feels authentic to the target audience — gamers.
2. Project Scope:
End-to-end production of a 55-second cinematic product film: concept → environment design → 3D modeling → texturing → animation → rendering → compositing → final delivery.
Deliverables: master video optimized for web, YouTube, and social platforms.
Toolkit: Cinema 4D / Blender for modeling and animation, Redshift for photorealistic rendering, After Effects for compositing and VFX, Premiere Pro for final mastering.
3. Content Planning:
Designed a cyberpunk environment around the chair: neon lighting, holographic UI elements, metallic surfaces, atmospheric fog, and sci-fi props.
Planned camera choreography to reveal the chair progressively — from silhouette to detail shots to full hero reveal.
Defined the visual language: high-contrast lighting, saturated neon palette (magenta, cyan, electric blue), reflective surfaces, and cinematic depth of field.
4. Production:
Modeled the Bloodhound chair in high detail — stitching, upholstery, adjustment mechanisms, armrests, base — with hard-surface precision.
Built the cyberpunk environment: futuristic panels, holographic displays, atmospheric props, and environmental storytelling elements.
Created PBR materials: leather/fabric with proper roughness and subsurface scattering, brushed metal, glowing neon surfaces, reflective chrome.
Animated cinematic camera movements and subtle environmental motion (flickering lights, holographic pulses, atmospheric particles).
Rendered in Redshift with volumetric lighting, realistic reflections, and multi-pass output for maximum compositing flexibility.
5. Post-production:
Compositing in After Effects: integrating render passes, enhancing neon glow, adding lens flares, chromatic aberration, and holographic UI overlays.
Color grading to achieve the signature cyberpunk palette — deep blacks, saturated neon highlights, and cinematic contrast.
Atmospheric VFX: volumetric fog, floating particles, screen glitches, and digital distortions to sell the sci-fi world.
Final mastering for web and social platforms with music-synced editing.
6. Results:
Delivered a genre-driven product film that transcends standard commercial content — becoming a visual statement rather than a product demo.
The cyberpunk identity creates a memorable visual signature for the Bloodhound series, reusable across marketing campaigns.
Demonstrated ability to combine hard-surface product modeling, environmental world-building, and cinematic storytelling within a single CGI piece.
