Project Overview: Created a production-ready 3D model and interactive viewer for VIP Italia's flagship device — the Hi-Line Lipo, a professional 6-in-1 aesthetic system released for the brand's 50th anniversary. The model serves as a key digital sales asset, allowing B2B clients (clinic owners, spa directors, distributors) to explore the device's design, interface, and build quality in detail before purchase — replacing traditional product photography with an interactive experience.


1. Project Objectives:

  • Create a photorealistic, technically accurate 3D model of a premium medical/aesthetic device for interactive web viewing.

  • Deliver a B2B sales tool that helps VIP Italia's sales team demonstrate the product to clinics, spas, and distributors worldwide without physical demo units.

  • Showcase the Italian design heritage, build quality, and advanced interface of a device that combines six proprietary technologies (Lipoline, Transion, Isogei, Linfogei, Microgei, Carezza).


2. Project Scope:

  • High-detail hard-surface modeling of the complete device: body, control panel, display, treatment modules, connectors, handles, and accessories.

  • Real-world scale accuracy based on manufacturer specs (33 × 40.5 × 127 cm, 22 kg).

  • Preparation of the model for interactive web deployment (optimized geometry, LOD, web-friendly textures).

  • Toolkit: Cinema 4D / Blender for modeling, Substance for texturing, Redshift for reference renders, export pipeline for web viewer integration (Sketchfab / Three.js / custom platform).


3. Content Planning:

  • Analyzed manufacturer documentation, technical drawings, and reference materials to ensure engineering accuracy.

  • Defined the level of detail required: exterior surfaces, interface elements, branding, connectors, and visible mechanical components — balancing visual fidelity with web performance.

  • Planned material presentation to reflect premium Italian design: brushed metal, matte surfaces, emissive displays, chrome accents, and soft-touch materials.


4. Production:

  • Modeled the complete VIP Hi-Line Lipo in high detail: main body, control interface, digital display, treatment module connectors, handles, mobility casters, and accessory ports.

  • Maintained real-world scale and proportions (33 × 40.5 × 127 cm) to ensure accuracy for B2B presentations and space planning by clinics.

  • Created PBR materials reflecting premium medical-grade finishes: matte body panels, brushed metal accents, backlit UI elements, rubberized grips, and chrome details.

  • Optimized geometry and textures for web delivery: reduced polygon count where safe, baked high-detail normals, prepared efficient UV layouts — preserving visual quality while ensuring smooth interactive performance.


5. Post-production:

  • Prepared final render passes and interactive-ready assets for web viewer integration.

  • Delivered reference renders (studio lighting, multiple angles) for marketing use alongside the interactive model.

  • Ensured material consistency across both interactive and static deliverables.
